We help you decide which Web of Science index your work belongs in, verify the journal, submit properly and keep your published record correctly linked.
Tell us about your web of science publication support need. We reply within one working day.
Web of Science publication support is useful when a rule says only "WoS indexed" and leaves the details to you. Web of Science is not one list. Its Core Collection holds several indexes, including SCIE for science, SSCI for social sciences, AHCI for arts and humanities, and ESCI for emerging sources. Your discipline and your university's wording decide which of these counts for you.
Shodhyantri helps scholars read those rules correctly, pick a fitting journal inside the right index, prepare the submission and handle peer review. After publication we help you check that the article appears under your name in your Web of Science researcher profile. The research and the writing stay yours. We guide and review, and we never promise acceptance, because peer review is the journal's decision.
Web of Science is a citation platform owned by Clarivate. Its Core Collection is the curated part most institutions mean when they say WoS. It contains the Science Citation Index Expanded, the Social Sciences Citation Index, the Arts and Humanities Citation Index and the Emerging Sources Citation Index, alongside conference proceedings and book citation indexes.
Journal Citation Reports, also by Clarivate, gives Journal Impact Factors for journals in these indexes. Your author profile on Web of Science, which absorbed the older Publons and ResearcherID services, shows your indexed articles and citations. Confirming journal coverage, and later confirming that your article is linked to you, are two separate checks.
We help you read your university or recruitment wording so you know whether ESCI, conference proceedings or only SCIE and SSCI will count.
Science, social science and humanities papers are routed to the matching index, so your journal shortlist suits your field's conventions.
We check each journal on Clarivate's Master Journal List by title and ISSN, and record which Core Collection index covers it.
Your package meets the journal's own checklist, which reduces technical returns and keeps the editor focused on your content.
After publication we help you claim the article in your Web of Science researcher profile and connect it with your ORCID iD.
No guaranteed slots, paid authorship or citation deals. We support your own research through an honest, documented process.
Ten stages, each with a clear output. Nothing moves to the next stage until you have reviewed the last one.
— You review every stage first, then decide —
Your target index is checked against the written institutional rule before any journal search begins.
Journal coverage and the specific Core Collection index are recorded with the date checked.
Referencing style, article type and length match the expectations of the chosen journal.
All required files, ethics statements and declarations are present before submission.
Each reviewer comment is answered and every change is traceable in the revised manuscript.
The published article is visible in the index and attributed to your researcher profile.
Every stage is shared with notes explaining what was changed and why. You and your supervisor check it, and the next stage starts only after your go-ahead.
| Common problem | How Shodhyantri helps |
|---|---|
| Assuming every Web of Science index counts equally under your university's rule. | Read the exact wording. Some rules accept only SCIE and SSCI, while others also count ESCI or proceedings. Ask in writing if unclear. |
| Treating a journal's appearance in Web of Science search results as proof of Core coverage. | Check the Master Journal List and note the Core index. Search results can include sources outside the Core Collection. |
| Using different spellings of your name across papers indexed in Web of Science. | Pick one name format, use it consistently, and link all papers through your researcher profile and ORCID iD. |
| Sending a humanities essay to a journal built for empirical social science. | Read recent issues. AHCI journals and SSCI journals expect different structures, evidence and citation styles. |
| Counting a paper as WoS indexed before the article itself appears in the database. | Wait until the article record is visible, then save a screenshot. Indexing of individual articles can lag behind publication. |
| Accepting a conference invitation that claims Web of Science indexing without verification. | Check whether the proceedings series is genuinely covered and whether your institution accepts proceedings at all. |
Keep the exact circular or regulation text. It settles disputes about which Web of Science indexes count for your degree or promotion.
Create your Web of Science researcher profile before publishing so new articles are easier to claim and link.
Add your ORCID iD at submission. It helps databases match articles to you and reduces attribution errors.
Journal Impact Factor appears in Journal Citation Reports. Do not rely on figures printed on journal websites.
Humanities journals often use Chicago or MLA, social sciences often use APA. Follow the journal's own author guide exactly.
Note when the journal was verified and when your article appeared. Committees sometimes ask for this timeline.
Citation counts grow through sharing your work honestly. Avoid citation exchange requests, which journals and Clarivate monitor.
If your published record shows a wrong affiliation or name, contact the publisher and use Clarivate's data correction route.
Your work is handled by people who read your field's literature, not by a single generalist.
A PhD-qualified specialist from your field who checks the research logic, gap and contribution.
Handles statistics, models and qualitative coding, and documents every analytical decision.
Improves structure, flow, clarity and academic tone without changing your meaning.
Builds and validates MATLAB, Python, ANSYS or COMSOL work where your study needs it.
Checks grammar, consistency, numbering, citations and the small errors examiners notice.
Applies your university or journal template, reference style and front matter exactly.
No. Web of Science is the whole platform, and SCI or SCIE is one index inside its Core Collection. Other Core indexes cover social sciences, arts and humanities, and emerging sources. When a rule says Web of Science, check which of these indexes it accepts.
ESCI is part of the Web of Science Core Collection, so it is Web of Science indexed. Whether it counts for your degree, recruitment or promotion depends on your institution's rule. Some accept it, others require SCIE or SSCI. Get the rule in writing before choosing.
No. Editors and peer reviewers decide acceptance, and indexing decisions belong to Clarivate. We help you choose well, submit cleanly and revise carefully. Any offer of guaranteed WoS publication should be treated with suspicion. Ask for evidence, not promises.
Create or sign in to your Web of Science researcher profile, search for your publications, and claim the ones that are yours. Link your ORCID iD to keep records in sync. We guide you through these steps once your article is indexed.
No. Your research and writing stay your own. We advise on index choice, verify journals, review submission readiness and support reviewer responses. If you need language editing, we offer it separately, without changing your arguments or results.
Article records often appear some time after online publication, and timing varies by journal. If a long time passes, check the journal's coverage status and contact the publisher. We help you track this and save evidence once it appears.
Use whatever the target journal's author guidelines specify. Web of Science does not set a style. Science journals often use numbered styles, social science journals APA, and humanities journals Chicago or MLA. We check the guide with you before final formatting.
We provide research guidance, statistical analysis, editing, formatting and training support. All research content remains the scholar's own work, in line with UGC and university academic integrity norms. We do not guarantee publication, acceptance, indexing or academic outcomes: journals decide through peer review and universities award degrees.
Share your topic, draft or data. We will tell you honestly what it needs, and what it does not, before you pay anything.
